Nadal wins after 5 days!!!

Rafael Nadal finally made it into the mens 4th round at Wimbledon as the rain held off for just 3 hours on Wednesday. Nadal faced a break point on his own serve at 5-5 but managed to fight off Soderling before breaking the Swede in the next game to record a marathon win. Another match which was stretched over 5 days was won by up and coming Serbian Novak Djokovic. the Serb resuming 1 set all against german Nicolas Kiefer, broke his opponoent 2 times in the 3rd set before wrapping up the match in a 4th set tie-break. Kiefer who was out for the whole of last year with an injury should be satisfied with his performance here and hopefully will be back into the worlds top 20 sooner rather than later!

In the ladies 4th round Venus Williams powered to the first set 6-1 before rain halted play. In the quarters Marion Bartoli who knocked out Jankovic on Tuesday is a set down against her 18 year old opponent Michaela Krajcek on court number 2. As i Speak the covers are coming off again so hopefully more news soon.
